WHAT WE RECORD
Different changes deserve different labels
We distinguish errors from ordinary maintenance so readers can understand why an article changed.
CORRECTION
A factual error was fixed
Examples include an incorrect date, figure, description, quotation, attribution or account of authoritative guidance.
UPDATE
The context materially changed
Substantial new evidence, regulation or authoritative guidance may require a dated update even when the original wording was accurate.
CLARIFICATION
Wording needed more precision
A clarification improves interpretation without changing the central factual account or conclusion.
OUR PROCESS
From concern to visible record
01
Review the concern
Check the article, cited material and the evidence supplied.
02
Assess significance
Decide whether it is a correction, update, clarification or minor edit.
03
Correct the article
Change the text and add a dated note where the difference matters.
04
Log material changes
Record substantive corrections and updates on this page.
CURRENT RECORD
No substantive corrections recorded
No substantive corrections have been required since the publication adopted its current editorial format in July 2026. This record will be updated when a material correction, clarification or evidence-led update is made.
Spelling, punctuation, formatting, broken-link repairs and other changes that do not affect meaning are normally corrected without a log entry.
FLAG A CONCERN
Help us check the record
Send the article URL, the exact passage you are questioning, what you believe is wrong or incomplete, and the strongest available source supporting your concern. Good-faith challenges are welcome; corrections are based on evidence, not pressure or preference.
Policy established July 2026. Material entries will remain visible so readers can understand how the publication’s record has changed.
