The operator of Psychedelic Medicine Report is responsible for personal information collected directly through this website. The site is hosted on WordPress.com and uses Jetpack services supplied by Automattic.

Information you provide

When you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, selected subject and message. Please do not include sensitive medical information or anything you would not want stored in an ordinary website enquiry system.

Technical and usage information

WordPress.com and its services may receive information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referral source, access time, approximate location and interactions with the site. This supports hosting, security, spam prevention and aggregated site statistics.

WHY INFORMATION IS USED

Clear purposes, limited use

02

Operate securely

To host the site, prevent abuse and keep it reliable.

03

The principal lawful bases are legitimate interests in operating, protecting and improving an independent publication, and taking steps at your request when you contact us. Where consent is specifically requested, you may withdraw it at any time.

CONTACT FORMS & RETENTION

What happens when you send a message

Contact-form submissions are stored in the WordPress.com/Jetpack Forms dashboard and may be sent by email to the site operator. WordPress.com uses Akismet to screen form submissions for spam; this can involve the details submitted together with IP address, user agent and page information.

Ordinary enquiries and related correspondence are normally kept for no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for continuing correspondence, safeguarding, dispute resolution or a legal obligation. Spam and technical records may follow WordPress.com and Automattic retention practices.

Contact-form details are not used to add you to a marketing list. When you subscribe, WordPress.com receives the email address you provide and uses it to send new-post notifications from Psychedelic Medicine Report. Subscription details are kept for as long as the subscription remains active or as required for security and record-keeping. You can unsubscribe using the link in any notification email. Subscription information is processed by Automattic/WordPress.com, is not combined with contact-form enquiries and is not sold by Psychedelic Medicine Report.
